We’ll honor those who have gone before us in the family of faith. In lieu of a sermon, we’ll enjoy a hymn sing together. We’ll also have a time of candle lighting in honor of those who have passed on.

Adults will gather for a congregational meeting in the sanctuary, in lieu of their Christian Formation classes. (Children and youth will meet for their Sunday school classes as usual.) After the meeting, we’ll enjoy a delicious potluck in the Fellowship Hall together!
Our Advent series continues. Our theme this week is “Be amazed: Joy in the desert.” Pastor Barb will preach on Isaiah 55: 1–13. During fellowship time, we’ll enjoy monkey bread prepared by our Venture Club.
Our theme this week is “Be amazed: Love comes down.” Pastor Richard will preach on John 1: 1–18. We won’t hold any adult Christian Formation classes, but children and youth will hold a rehearsal for the Christmas pageant on December 24.

Join us for a contemplative worship service in the style of Taizé. This simple form of worship invites worshipers to sit in the presence of God through quiet repeated music with simple lyrics, silence, and prayer. Taizé services will take place in the sanctuary on the fourth Friday of each month.
