Pastor Nathan will preach on Acts 1: 1-11. He writes, “This Sunday, we start our sermon series on the book of Acts. Acts 1 opens with Jesus ascending to heaven, against the expectations that Jesus was going to restore the kingdom of Israel. This points to the upside down society that Jesus establishes with the disciples, and the true Kingdom we are all called to live in.”
