Worship Service: Barnabus and Saul Sent to Minister

Pastor Barb will preach on Acts 13: 1-3, 14: 8-18. She writes, “This weekend includes celebrations of Juneteenth. This month includes celebrations of Pride. At LMC, we join these celebrations recognizing that in some cases we will be entering a cross-cultural encounter. Our scripture for today offers us an early example in which Barabus and Saul cross into another culture, commissioned by the church. What they experience offers us a glimpse into the joys and pitfalls of stepping out of our homogenous comfort zones.”
