Fourth Sunday of Advent

Our theme this week is “Be amazed: Love comes down.” Pastor Richard will preach on John 1: 1–18. He writes, “Many Christians focus on going to heaven someday. But the main storyline throughout the Bible is that God repeatedly reaches out to humanity on earth. Nowhere is this more evident than in the Incarnation when ‘The Word became flesh and made his home among us.’”

We won’t hold any adult Christian Formation classes on Sunday, but children and youth will hold a rehearsal for the Christmas pageant on December 24.
