First Sunday of Advent

We begin a 6-week Advent worship series. Our theme this first week is “Between a Rock and a Hard Place: How Do We Continue On?” Pastor Richard will preach on Daniel 6: 6–27 and Luke 23: 1-5. He writes, “Advent is a time when we are especially aware of living in the time of ‘already’ but ‘not yet.’ The Kingdom of God has already been established, but we wait for the time of fulfillment that has not yet come. Daniel provides us with a model for faithful living in this uncomfortable space.”
