Third Sunday of Advent

Our theme is “Anointing for Justice: Who Belongs?” Pastor Richard will preach on Isaiah 61: 1–11 and Luke 4: 16-21. He writes, “Our hopes for beautiful Christmas celebrations are often challenged by the reality of our hectic lives. The prophet Isaiah likewise challenges the hopes and expectations of the Israelites returning from exile. And hundreds of years later, Jesus uses the prophet’s words to challenge his people’s hopes and expectations for the Messiah.”
The Venture Club (our middle school youth group) will serve their famous monkey bread during the fellowship time!
