Palm Sunday: Christ Collides with Our Expectations

Our service will begin with the traditional palm processional. Pastor Richard will preach on Luke 19: 29–44. He writes, “Palm Sunday is a noisy and chaotic time. The disciples shout in celebration. Jesus responds by weeping over Jerusalem and confronting those selling things in the temple. This is not the meek, calm and nice Christ we often expect.”
