Our theme will be Dwelling in Dissonance: Complicity and innocence. Pastor Richard will preach on John 19: 1–16a. He writes, “This week, we continue our reading through Jesus’ trial before Pilate. Pilate appears to have the power in this situation. Yet he is repeatedly unable to set Jesus free. Against his better judgment, Pilate ultimately feels compelled to hand Jesus over to be crucified.”
