Worship Service: Peace: The Greatest Commandment

Pastor Barb will preach on Mark 12: 28-34. She writes, “This is the second in our 3-part series about peace. Though all three pastors have chosen a New Testament scripture as our focus, this scripture identifies Jesus quoting important Old Testament texts as foundational, reminding us of an underlying consistency throughout the Bible of God’s desire for peace.”

During the Christian Formation time, adults will gather in the Fellowship Hall for the first of three weeks of small group table discussions—world café style—on how LMC can be a more welcoming congregation. To keep the cafe atmosphere, there will be food! This Sunday will feature a dessert bar.
